![]() About bvm moto BVM was established in 1974 dealing initially with Trials bikes. Starting out selling Montesa & Ossa off-road bikes and bits, Fantic and KTM mopeds were soon added. (In the 70's these Marques were major players in the buoyant moped market). The first ever Fantic Trials bike, a 125, was sent to BVM for evaluation. Over the years all the major trials makes have been sold from Stroud with current sales topping 300 new bikes a year. Most years we have been the UK's top Montesa dealer and for the last few years the top Gas-Gas outlet as well Following on from our start with mopeds we have expanded in road bikes sector moving through Cossack, Ducati, Moto-Guzzi and Harley-Davidson until 1983 when we took on the BMW agency. This proved to be a good move for us as we are now established as one of the top dealers for this prestigious marque in the UK Much of BVM' success is founded on our experienced and efficient mail-order service. With our sound financial background we are able to carry a large stock of spares and accessories and endeavour to supply most peoples needs the same day. All of the customer facing staff have ridden in trials, most of them for more than 20 years, so all have a love and knowledge of the sport. As an example of our on-going commitment to trials we would normally expect to have at least 125 pairs of trials boots in stock plus equally as large quantities of other trials products. Our dedicated computer system allows us to run regular orders with our major suppliers keeping stock levels such that we can supply most things the same day. One thing that has changed since we started is style and range or clothing for both road and trials that is available. To this end we have dedicated an area of our showroom to clothing giving customer a chance to browse and try on the latest gear in a relaxed atmosphere. The showroom has a coffee and soft drinks machine with a seating area and TV, which plays the latest motor-cycling videos. Servicing and repairs are taken care of by our fully skilled workshop staff using the latest techniques and equipment. |
